Chorizo and Shallot Tart Replace shallots with onion but they are cheap at Aldi, as is chorizo and pastry.
Coq Au Vin A cheap bottle of red wine and some cheaper chicken pieces and you have a luxurious French comfort dish for less!!
Crab dip can be made with canned crab or sashimi sticks (fish sticks) and cream cheese from a store such as Aldi for a comforting dip with budget tortilla chips!
Crispy Crab Fritters can be made with sashimi sticks for a fun budget appetizer or lunch!!!
Iraqi bean Stew This uses canned beans that can be purchased very cheaply at Aldi and other discount stores. Make your own bread to go with this to keep cost low. (A bread machine can be a great investment)
Mexican Meatballs in Chipotle Sauce This uses meatballs that can be bough frozen, uite cheaply, but making your own from ground pork is even cheaper. The biggest splurge will be the chipotle paste, but try to buy this from an ethnic store in a larger container to keep the budget down.

Southern Dry Rub Pork 3 Ways Get the largest shoulder of pork from Aldi and you will have freezable tasty food that will feed you for a few days!!!
Tamarind and Coconut Pork This one is great with the Aldi coconut milk, they even have the light one and it seems to have become a fixture now!!! The shoulder of pork works great slow cooked, to make this a less expensive treat. If you are able to buy the tamarind paste at an Asian store, instead of the supermarket, you will save money.
